Summer is upon us and there are more properties under $500,000 than we have seen in a long time. As of today there are 25 properties of full ownership under this price. Many of them are condos which make the perfect second home since the exterior maintenance is at a minimum on these.

Sunriver is a great place to buy a home. With wonderfully sunny days and deep snow in the winter.
But beware of the Sunriver Vacations Group they are a bit sneaky. They are funding their Mavericks project by charging guests an extra tax even if the guest cannot access the Mavericks.
We feel that this reflect badly on the community that we are home owners in. That is why a number of us have changed our management company to someone other than that of Sunray, Discover Sunriver, Mt. Resort and Village Properties.
Everyone has the right to use a company that suits their needs, so I have published this comment.
I personally feel that Village Properties and Discover Sunriver do disclose to their guests and owners what the fees are.
I also feel that the Maverick has been and will continue to be a great addition to Sunriver and can serve to help the over crowding at the other facilities Sunriver has to offer.
